Dear Friends and Family,

I am lacing up my sneakers on September 30th for the Bittersweet Elementary Walk-a-thon and will be giving it my my all. I'm excited to take part because this event raises money for me and my classmates to continue to be enriched through our school's opportunities and resources. All funds raised help support supplemental educational programs, classroom supplies, field trips, all school art program, after-school education opportunities, PAWS rewards, field day, free family events amongst other programs that are essential to our school community but no longer provided by our corporation.

I plan to walk (or run) as far as I can during our Walk-a-thon, and I'm asking for sponsors to help me reach my fundraising goal. Will you help by making a flat donation pledge?

I would appreciate it (and so would my 500 schoolmates) if you could help support me.

Bittersweet Elementary is a school where student learning thrives and children feel good about the place they call their school. We believe that this is because of the incredible students that attend our school, the awesome staff who believe that relationships with students are key to optimal learning and more importantly the incredible support of our families. We could not engage in the wonderful learning opportunities and the fun things we do here without your monetary support. Please know that no amount is too small.
